Formed in 1993 as a family business Portafix is now part of the Staytite Group and is proud to offer a great range of products and services combined with high quality customer service.

Every customer receives individual service from our experienced sales force, who are able to offer help and technical advice to find the right product for the job. We source and supply high quality products at competitive prices. Same-day delivery is offered locally using our fleet of delivery vans, and we offer a next day service for deliveries nationally.

We are committed to continued investment, ensuring that stock levels meet customer requirements; sourcing of new product ranges; efficient back office function, and a fast, reliable delivery service.

Fixing Your Needs

Supplying fastenings for more than thirty years, the strategy which Portafix originally embraced when starting out as a family run business in 1993 was to supply “the best possible service in the fixings industry”. This strategy still continues today.

The business was initially run from the family’s home in Tadley. As the company expanded, it moved to a large unit on Andover’s Walworth Industrial Estate. An additional warehouse was also acquired to accommodate further stock to match the rapid increase in business activity. Over thirty years on, the company has seen a further expansion, offering their unique SMS system, which is more popular than ever.

Portafix works closely with a number of leading UK companies, where they supply a range of products and services at the Andover base.
